One of our Evergreens Lifestyle members has celebrated a milestone birthday!
Olive, who has been a member of ASV for about six years, celebrated her 90th birthday in early February!
Born in Aberdeen in February 1933, Olive was used to being part of a large family. Growing up with 5 sisters and 6 brothers, she went on to have 5 children of her own and has many grandchildren she credits with helping to keep her young at heart.
Olive has always had a competitive spirit, and after a battle with breast cancer a few years ago she came back stronger than ever. She used to play table tennis each week at ASV, though she hasn't returned to the court since the Covid-19 pandemic. However, she still loves coming to ASV and seeing her ASV Family each week.
Olive says coming to ASV for the Aqua Aerobics, swim, sauna & steam room, and of course chatting to other members and Team ASV, is a highlight each week.

We were thrilled to be part of Olive's 90th birthday celebrations last month. One of our instructors who works with Olive each week, Lee-Anne, said it best: Olive is a true inspiration!
